TotalEnergies via SymdrikBuild and maintain TotalEnergies’ B2C web platform while leading the team’s Generative AI initiative. My role combines hands-on development of critical backend systems (PHP/Symfony, Laravel, React, Kafka) with the design and deployment of AI-powered solutions, including multi-agent systems, RAG-as-a-Service, and GenAI MLOps.
- Designed and deployed autonomous multi-agent systems using LangGraph and LlamaIndex to automate complex business workflows such as customer support, document analysis, and content generation.
- Built an internal RAG-as-a-Service (RAGaaS) platform with advanced retrieval pipelines: hybrid chunking, reranking, multi-model embeddings, and hybrid search (vector + BM25) to give teams faster access to business knowledge.
- Set up GenAI MLOps observability with MLflow to track prompts, measure response quality, detect hallucinations, and monitor cost per request.
- Deployed open-source LLMs locally using Ollama and vLLM (AWQ/GPTQ quantization, batch inference) to protect sensitive data and reduce inference costs. Introduced GitHub Copilot across the team to boost productivity and code quality.
- Maintained and improved a large-scale B2C ecosystem: Typo3 corporate website, customer portal, Laravel APIs, Symfony/React payment application, PHP/Symfony core services.
- Led a major stack modernization: migrated from PHP 7 to 8.3, Symfony 4.4 to 6.4, and React 16 to 19, while refactoring the core architecture for better scalability and maintainability.
- Improved code quality and reliability: enforced PHPStan level 8 standards and grew test coverage from 0% to 88% (PHPUnit, Jest, Cypress). Fully migrated CI/CD from Bitbucket/Azure to AWS + GitHub Actions.
- Designed, estimated, and delivered new B2C projects under TMA/MCO level 3 contracts. Led SCRUM sprints, mentored developers.
